Competitive Selection Processes

At different times throughout the year the Department may run a competitive selection process to allocate growth funding or seek a service to implement a specific Government initiative. This process is known as an Expression of Interest (EOI).

Agencies are invited to demonstrate a willingness to provide services when the Department calls for Expressions of Interest, generally advertised in major statewide newspapers (such as The Sydney Morning Herald), major regional papers and, where appropriate, culturally specific newspapers.

The EOI advertisement outlines general information about the services that the Department wants to purchase and/or initiatives to be implemented. The advertisement includes contact details where interested agencies can obtain more information and outlines the due date for applications to be submitted.

Where possible, information on current and upcoming EOIs will be placed on the Department's website.
