Funding information

The NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC), in partnership with more than 900 community organisations, provides opportunities and access for older people, people with a disability and their carers to participate in community life.

For the 2008-09 financial year the DADHC budget is $2 billion. This represents an increase of $130 million over the previous year.

Part of what we do involves funding non-government and local government providers to deliver services to clients on our behalf. In 2008-09 we will give $1,284 million in grants and subsidies to about 900 service providers.
