Funding Agreements and Acquittals

Funding Agreement

Funding provided by DADHC is generally covered by either a one or three year agreement. At the end of each funding cycle (30th June) agreements are renewed between service providers and the department as appropriate.

The DADHC Funding Agreement comprises:

  • The Funding Agreement. Outlines the general terms and conditions
  • Schedules to the Agreement which may comprise:
    • Schedule 1. Service Description Schedule. Part A. Contains basic Service Provider information such as ABN, GST status, address and contact details
    • Schedule 1 Part B.  A summary listing of grants you have with the Department
    • Schedule 1 Part C. Summary of each regional funding program and outputs
    • Schedule 1 Part D. Provides details and conditions, including service type expectations, outcomes and outputs for the delivery of a service or services
    • Schedule 1 Part E. Details of service provision including outlet information and service type details of specific target groups, if applicable
    • Schedule 1 Part F. Property details, if applicable
    • Schedule 2. Financial Reporting requirements
    • Schedule 3. Policies and Guidelines
  • The Funding Agreement Guide. Provides information about the department's Funding Agreement and associated schedules

Funding Agreement schedules are issued not only at renewal time but also when a change to funding occurs such as an increase in funding levels.

Acquittals

Each year the Department, in terms of the Funding Agreement, requires funds that have been paid to Service Providers be acquitted. Acquittal packages are sent to Service Providers detailing funds paid in the previous financial year. Service providers are required to complete the package and return it to the Department for analysis.
