The Department recognises the role non-government organisations play in the development, implementation and delivery of programs for older people, people with a disability and their carers.
DADHC as a human service agency is committed to working with non-government organisations to ensure an innovative, accountable service system focussed on improving outcomes for older people, people with a disability and their carers.
We do this by working with non-government organisations to build the capacity of providers and the broader service sector.
The Working Together for NSW Agreement provides a framework to build on our partnerships and to continue to strive to improve the way the Government and non-government sectors work together.
DADHC is committed to using the approach to inform our broader initiatives.
Working Together for NSW Agreement
An important element of DADHC working with community partners is the provision of training and development.
