The NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC or ‘the Department’) is responsible for monitoring service delivery to older people, people with a disability and their carers, and for ensuring that opportunities to participate fully in community life are provided.
The Department, in consultation with community care industry peaks and key service providers, has developed a new approach to monitoring – the Integrated Monitoring Framework (the IMF or Framework). The IMF integrates the various monitoring activities currently undertaken by the Department that is consistent with the general approaches taken by other human services. The Framework applies to services operated by the Department and service providers delivering DADHC funded services.
