DADHC is conducting Financial Management Training workshops for non-government organisation (NGO) service providers between June and October 2008.
Why financial management training?
Financial management has been identified as a key training need for DADHC funded service providers.
This follows consultation with peak bodies, and feedback received from other DADHC training initiatives.
Performance management through the Integrated Monitoring System and recent tender and expression of interest applications have also indicated the need for training.
Who should attend?
The training is suitable for staff involved in financial management in small to medium sized non-government organisations.
The training will enhance participants’ financial skills through the implementation of sound financial management practices.
Note: A separate Governance Development Program will be developed by DADHC for the specific learning and development needs of management committee members.
Training information
The financial management training program is offered in face-to-face and online workshops in introductory (Level 1) and advanced (Level 2) levels. Follow up support is also available to participants.
Training will take place from June to October 2008 in regional and metropolitan locations throughout NSW.
DADHC has engaged Matrix on Board to conduct the training.
